Our Community Hall provides an ideal setting for a variety of social activities including Tai Chi classes, Movie Nights, card afternoons, themed luncheons, dinners, and barbeques as well as happy hours with musical entertainment and monthly church services. We have an extensive volunteering program in which many residents are involved.
The village 17 seater bus provides weekly trips to Warringah Mall shopping centre. A great variety of organised outings are coordinated by our staff.
Public transport is easily accessible from outside the village to Warringah Mall, Chatswood, Manly and to the City. Our local area includes many social venues including golf, RSL & bowling clubs, Warringah Aquatic Centre and cinemas all within easy reach. Allambie shops are a 10 minute walk away.
Our internet suite provides important links to the wider world and our volunteer tutors are always keen to assist residents who are learning to use the internet for the first time. Our workshop is available to all residents who enjoy craft and woodwork.
A range of optional services are also available. Our Dining Room provides home cooked meals prepared by our onsite chefs and your family and friends are always welcome to join you.
We have a range of health services available including nursing, visiting general practitioners and podiatry. We also have a hairdresser and beautician who visit regularly.
We have an accredited aged care facility within our Village providing 42 low care hostel places (ageing in place) which includes respite, dementia and permanent care and which can accommodate single residents as well as couples.
