Bachelor of Social Studies (Hons), Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (University of Dublin, Trinity College), Post-Graduate Qualification in Management (University of Strathclyde, Scotland).
Ciarán started his career in 1986 in Dublin. He has worked in a range of Senior Management Health and Social Services positions in Ireland and the United Kingdom. He operated his management consultancy business in Ireland for six years before moving to Australia. He has extensive experience in the provision of services for older people and was first to provide training in the Protection of Older People to groups in Ireland in association with the Working Group on Elder Abuse and through his consultancy business. He joined the organisation as Chief Executive Officer in 2006.
He enjoys spending time with his young family, coaching rugby, swimming, gardening, cooking and reading.
Retirement Living Manager
Patricia commenced working with us in 2007 bringing with her ten years of experience in the Aged Care industry in both Hostel and Nursing Home Facilities encompassing business management and administration, finance and human resources. She was previously employed in sales and marketing, the banking industry and other health related administration and management roles.
Patricia was born in England and moved to Australia in her teenage years. Following a period of travel, she settled on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 1977 where she raised her two children. She enjoys all types of sport, musical theatre, dancing and travel. Patricia looks forward to meeting with and helping any future residents, families and friends with information regarding our self care or hostel (aged care) facilities.
Director of Care
Irene is a Registered Nurse and joined Allambie Heights Village in April 2012, bringing a wealth of experience in Aged Care Management, Nurse Educator and a variety of management roles in the Insurance sector.
Eddie joined us in November, 2010 employed as a contractor, performing the role of Accounts Manager. Eddie is the proprietor of Youil Consulting and has extensive experience in the field of accounting in which he manages clients from a wide variety of industries.
Previously employed by Qantas Airways as a financial analyst gave Eddie the opportunity to travel to many exotic destinations . Eddie now enjoys his free time with his family which includes the addition of a new baby girl.
Christina studied Secretarial and Business Administration Studies at Technical College in Munich. She started her career as Team Secretary at Siemens, Munich and later transferred to Siemens, Sydney in a similar role reporting to a group of technical engineers and managers. She continued a part-time career in banking and customer service while raising her two sons. She was employed as Office Manager for a European multinational mining and engineering company for eight years.
Christina joined the team in 2003 bringing a range of experience in office administration and organisation as well as customer service and problem solving. She enjoys outdoor activities, nature, hiking, travelling, yoga and time with family and friends.
Leesa commenced working with the team in 2008. She has 15 years experience in a variety of office administation skills which include banking, finance, marketing and customer service.
Leesa grew up on the Northern Beaches where she now lives with her family. Leesa loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at her daughters school.
Virginia coordinates the diverse and stimulating recreational program offered to our hostel (aged care) residents and recruits, supports and manages our valued volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering at Allambie Heights Village should contact Virginia at (02) 9975 5800 or by email.
Trevor provides a range of maintenance services within our Village. He joined the organization in 2006 with a wealth of experience in the construction industry.
