Allambie Heights Village Ltd. is a company limited by guarantee and is a not-for-profit organisation providing quality accommodation and care to persons over 55. All of our communities are located together in Allambie Heights, where we proudly operate three distinct but connected retirement living options — Allambie Heights Village, William Charlton Village, and our newest development, Bellburra — as well as our established Residential Aged Care facility.
Allambie Heights Village is located in a tranquil setting on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, surrounded by landscaped gardens with views overlooking Manly Dam Reserve, Chatswood and the city skyline. With easy access to public transport, residents enjoy convenient travel to local amenities including Warringah Mall, Manly, Chatswood and Sydney’s CBD. Our retirement village has been firmly established in the community since 1966 and offers secure, independent living for people aged over 55. Our aged care facility, operating since 1996, provides compassionate, professional care in a comfortable and supportive environment.
William Charlton Village, has been part of the community since the 1970s and was operated by The Benevolent Society until 2016, when it was acquired by Allambie Heights Village Ltd. This retirement village offers independent living rental accommodation for over 55s, with a strong focus on affordability, community connection and resident wellbeing. Since taking over, we have transitioned the village to operate under modern residential tenancy agreements while maintaining the peaceful surrounds and supportive atmosphere that residents value.
Bellburra, opening in 2025, is our newest independent living community. This boutique development features 24 architecturally designed apartments, offering a fresh standard of modern living for over 55s. With generous layouts, leafy surrounds and close proximity to transport and amenities, Bellburra has been designed to promote comfort, connection and peace of mind. Like all our properties, it is managed by our dedicated team committed to delivering excellence in retirement living.
Our Board of Directors, Management and Staff are committed to achieving the highest standards of care and accommodation and bring decades of experience and industry knowledge. Our retirement villages are operated in accordance with the Fair Trading Act 1987, the New South Wales Retirement Villages Act 1999, the New South Wales Retirement Villages Regulations 2000, the Residential Tenancies Act 2010, the Corporations Act 2001 and the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal 2013.
Our Residential Aged Care Facility operates in accordance with the Commonwealth Aged Care Act 1997 and is regulated by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
